History of Basketball

James Naismith invented basketball. In Springfield, Massachusetts in 1891. He remember about games that he would play when he was small so by putting all those Ideas together he a great idea of getting a peach basket from the school cafeteria and cutting a hole under so when they through the ball it would go straight through. And count as a point every time they made one. The reason why he invented basketball was because they needed a sport to play indoors for the winter because it was too cold to play baseball or football outside. At the beginning the circumstances where that they had to had to play 9 versus 9, handle a soccer ball not a basketball, and instead of shooting at two hoops, the goals were a pair of peach baskets.  Before he even came up with basketball he had trouble trying to figure out the best game to play indoors. He keep thinking and thinking he finally thought about the game that is still now known as basketball. The difference between basketball then and now is that back then they would use peach baskets and use a soccer ball to play with and now they actually use a net and a actual basketball.

True story 

Tana was an old lady that would go to the grave to visit her husbands grave because he had passed away. but till one day a man robed her and snatched her purse with $700 in her purse. then a boy named Christian saw  on the news that his dad had went to jail for robbing the old women. but his  dad had given him 200 and something dollars for him to go to a band trip that he wanted to go. so when he heard about that he decided to give the old lady the 200 dollars because he wasnt sure if it was the money that his dad had stolen from the old lady. so when he gave it to her she accepted it but she rather let him keep it so he can go to the band trip. I think that was a nice thing he did and also a nice thing she did for him.

Veterinarian

Duties and responsibilities: veterinarian is a type a doctor for animals

Salary: about $149,530

Education:  they need 4 years to get a veterinary medicine degree but before they enroll they need a undergraduate degree.

 Reflection: I think that it would be good to become a veterinarian because I like animals especially dogs so I mean it wouldn’t be that bad in working as animal doctor. 

Western Medicine Doctor

Duties and Responsibilities: western medicine doctors do medical treatment such as surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, and physical therapy .

Salary: about $65,00

Education:  they need to have a masters
