Anesthesiology
Duties and responsibilities: Anesthesiologists are the
physicians trained to administer and manage anesthesia given during a surgical
procedure. They are also responsible for managing and treating changes in your
critical life functions - breathing, heart rate, and blood pressure - as they
are affected by the surgery being performed.
Salary: $348,831
Education: Before
entering college, those interested in a career in anesthesiology need to think
about the kinds of classes taken in high school. As with other physician
specialties, all future anesthesiologists need to attend a four-year
undergraduate program and most will enroll in a pre-medicine or another
science-concentrated program, though it is not required. Following graduation,
prospective anesthesiologists are required to attend four years of medical
school.

Reflection: I think I would want to be this because
it involves being a doctor but instead being a doctor like for surgery or
something its a doctor for like putting people to sleep before doing surgery.
