Bless You
These words
are sometimes spoken when someone sneezes or when they do something good for
someone else and that that person tells them bless you as in for helping them.
Basically this word originated in the early AD 77. At the time, sneezing was
thought to be an early symptom of the plague. The blessing ("God bless
you!") became a common effort to halt the disease. This saying phrase has
been used in the Hebrew bible by Jews and by Christians.
